The Greater Victoria Peace School (GVPS) is a project of Nonviolence International a registered charity. GVPS is grassroots cooperative venture started by individuals dedicated to creating a more peaceful world. Our members have years of experience working in community organizations, peace organizations, and faith communities.
THE SCHOOL
Drawing on the experience, expertise and curriculum of a number of peace education programs, the course will provide the opportunity to explore and deepen our understanding of the foundations of peace in ourselves, our communities, and our world, as well as the practical steps we can each take towards peace.
